I sit in trees most of November too, and the best tool I found to ensure all day sits is heated socks/insoles in Sorel Glacier boots, and a heated vest. My hands are usually fine, but heated mitts could help too. Milwaukee makes some legit heated clothing.

I have the Thunderhead system and it is not what I used for late November.
I use it for spring bear on drizzly days and drizzly September days.
Cuts wind great, keeps the water out, but not meant for hiking in for long periods. Gets noisy when cold.

For this past late season this is what I used when it got -20 and lower. Warmer than that, I would just drop a piece of clothing as needed

Whole Body
Sitka merino base layer
Under armor black and green fuzzy mid layer

Upper body
Kelvin Active Jacket
Kelvin WS Jacket
Jetstream Jacket

Lower Body
Back 40 Pants
Timberline Pants

It kept me really warm, the problem was the upper body was loud when moving.

This upcoming late season, I am going with the Sitka Fanatic system. It is built for late season quietness and still for long periods.
Do not try to hike or still hunt in this, you will over heat.

They are having a fathers day sale right now.

I just picked up 3 more pieces to add to my kit. Got some early season stuff.

I also enjoy my first lite gear. But I do think that Sitka’s wind stopper maybe better for those windy days in the tree. I tend to stay on my feet and have found FL whitetail line up versatile enough for still hunting through a variety of conditions.

The only thing I struggle with is with the shipping costs it can be a bit much to return an item you don’t like.

The only reason I have Sitka gear is because years ago they had a 50% off deal for guides. It has been great stuff but I think you can get other stuff that works just as well, that is if you can get by with out camo. Have a look at Bushcraftcanada.com There is some awesome stuff there. I had a hunter from New Zealand give me a Swanndri Bush Shirt over 30 years ago and it's still going strong! Bushcraft has it and more.
