Default Anyone need Parts from Numrich Arms or Boyds Gunstocks

Looking to order a stock for a Savage model 24A 410/22. Both Numrich and Boyd's sell them, base cost $70 and shipping is only $9.00. Problem is the export handling fees of $35, which applies whether you order $70, or $1,000 (Numrich) or $500 (Boyds) Thought if there were others interested in ordering from either place we could do a group buy and reduce the handling fees.

Any idea how that would work out if grabbing a thumbhole stock from boyds? estimated cost on top of the part cost?

My suggestion would be to forget the $35.00 extra shipping fee. For a total of $114.00 you're all in for a nicely finished stock. I cut custom stocks and couldn't even come close to that price. Heck, a raw chunck of exotic wood will run me $70.00 minimum before I start shaping. I cannot compete with their prices, nor do I want to, I cut specialized stuff that can't be had otherwise.
