Default Selling a rifle or shotgun

Now that the registry is abolished what are the requirements to sell a non restricted firearm such as a hunting rifle or shotgun? Would you sell one to a person with just a possesion license? How will anyone know?

No I wouldn't sell a firearm to someone with just a POL. If the person doesn't have a PAL, then they don't buy from me. If there was an incident, and someone told the police where they obtained the firearm, without having a PAL, you would be in a great deal of trouble. Or if the firearm was manufactured after the PAL/POL/FAC regulations were brought in, and the person never held a FAC/PAL, it would be obvious that the person obtained the firearm illegally.
