Default Zero turn issue

My 10 year old JD Z445 has an issue
Motor runs, driving fine, but the mower doesn't engage any more
Mechanically everything looks fine
Put a new switch in, but didn't help
Thinking this is an electrical issue
Fuses are fine, so I would think either a wire or the relay
Question How do you test the relay or how would you guys approach it?
Thanks.

If the fuses are good, I would suspect either a wiring issue, or the electric clutch has failed. I would check the voltage to the clutch when the switch is activated. If the voltage is present to the clutch, the wiring is good, and the clutch has likely failed. If the proper voltage isn't getting to the clutch, check to see if the voltage is present at the switch, and then follow the wiring to the clutch. If the voltage isn't present at the switch, follow the wiring to the supply.

I would think it be the electric clutch, those things do go bad from time to time.

I replaced one on our stupid badboy zero turn a few years ago.

Likely the clutch, as others have said, test with a voltmeter or test light the power to the clutch with the key on engine off and the switch engaged, might need weight on the seat have everything set as though you were mowing but with the engine off.

It could also be corrosion between the clutch and the mower preventing a good ground if it's a one wire system or corrosion to the source of ground if it's a two wire system.

Should be fairly simple.
