Pinehurst report

Four days at Pinehurst, our first time there. Found it to be very slow. Others we talked to said the same thing. The wife got 60, 54, and 51 cm. wallys, I got one 51. The pike were very chubby but only around 61cm. There's still a lot of lake we have'nt tried so we'll be back. The water is very clean and the scenery is fantastic this time of year. Most fish were caught in 46 feet of water. Friday night a skunk wandered through camp and went right under our picnic table just after the wife rigged up the steaks to cook on the fire. Early Sunday morning I woke up to the strong skunk odor, apparently it was a few sites down causing problems.
