In my VERY unscientific test my buddy stood 3ft to my left and right while shooting the plate rack. I was directly behind the Garmin 15in above the unit and probably 4in behind it. I was shooting a known 1150fps load and he was shooting a known 850fps load and it worked perfectly. We then exchanged revolvers and it worked perfectly. It's the real deal.... John

Cabelas at terwillegar still doesn’t have them. I was thinking of getting one but my labradar seems to be working fine on 22-250 and 223.

My new chrony arrived.

When they said this thing was small, they weren’t kidding!

And I just happened to have a nice Pelican 1200 case that I repurposed from a radio case!

And a large lithium battery from the old LabRadar to give it juice. Can’t wait to try it out on Wednesday!

Don't bother with the manual, there is nothing in there to help you out.

On my 2-3 hour sessions I have not had to worry about battery life, so you will be carrying that battery around right now for looks only.

They are a nice little unit.

Remember to scroll up, instead of down when you want to close off a session, string, and start a new one. Less scrolling. LOL.

Thanks! That battery is also for my iPad and cell phone. It’s a large capacity unit. It is a b1tch when you lose a battery, that’s really the reason I carry it. Sometimes my range visits are 6+ hours and when shooting on private land, longer.

And that “manual” is just for looks in the picture. I fiddled around with the unit and it looks pretty intuitive. And I downloaded the ShotView app.
