Default Individual draw priority when applying as a group question

When applying for draws I put in my buddy and myself as a group. I 999'd our draws. Noticed it costs the same for 1 person as it does for the whole group. My Priority will increase. Does his priority increase when applying this way?

The only thing to watch out for is the group priority adjusts to the lowest priority. So if you are a priority 4 and your buddy is a priority 1 and you put in as a group... You both become a 2

^^ false, all 4 group members can have a different priority and all gain one point accordingly.

Negative.

When upping priority it does just that...you never actually LOSE priority.

BUT if you try to draw as a group the lowest priority applies for the group...but if you are not drawn, then everyone in the group just gains a priority point for the following year.

In your scenario...if you and your buddy aren’t drawn, he becomes a 2 and you become a 5...BUT your group priority for that year of draws was a 1.

I was thinking that they would be losing money by having up to 4 guys getting draw applications for the price of one doing it this way?

It makes the draws even cheaper...it’s how we do our walleye draws.

Some guys have steam pouring out of their ears reading this
