Welcome to the forums,

I don't think they will stop, They have to cut weeds and pay for upkeep.

I think they need to stock it with walleye.

What so we can have another southern Alberta lake with a 0 retention that overrun with stunted walleye?

Default stunted wally

If ya were to goto any other lake than pcr, you would realize that the next ab walleye record will come from a southern res..As this was a quote from tj swanky(he has been out doing studies and has shocked some very big fish) , as I took in one of his seminars this spring..And as I do a lot walleye fishing I have caught lots of wallys over 5lbs, came close at times to the 9lber, and as for 0 retintion, most of the souther res you are allowed to keep walleye..Go check the fishin hole as a buddie of mine caught a 9+ lber at a res not 1.5 hr from calgary its on the picture board . And were camping at travers this wknd for some 0 retention(lol) tasty walleyes....

Default stunted walleye

Bubba 96 you entertain me, lol.
Those of the board members who fish southern Alberta regularly know which lakes "eyes" can be retained. There are some very good fish in these waters, you just have to put in your time and try different things and learn.

There are many knowlegable fisherman on this board who are willing to advise, even teach technics that work to help fellow anglers. What amazes me is how short a time it takes for some board members to critisize and comment in such a way that seasoned anglers just say "to hell with it".

Fishing with newbies or "less experienced" fisher people is rewarding, entertaining and usually exhausting, lol and I love it.

Bubba, eyes from Travers in beer batter with emeril spice this weekend, yum
