There you go boys and girls, documentary proof that coy-yutes are prey for wolves.
Excellent photo set up. I hope everything was legal.
Those wolves came from our Rock Lake population.
Good Alberta wolves...... they hate coyotes.

Wolves, the most magnificent canid on the planet. Every time you see a wolf you see the other 'super predator' on our planet. Strong, fast and smart. Beautiful beyond compare and spiritual beyond our paltry understanding of the word. Herds of deer and antelope are stronger and fitter where there are wolves. We must not ever eradicate them, but cherish and nurture the wild in them, so that we may see the wild in us.

I once fed a wolf, on the side of a road, just north of Wabasca in the heavy oil area. It had lost its sense of smell I'm thinking, as it couldn't find the food I had set down next to my boot. It wasn't until I bent down to point out the food that it really sunk in that I was face to face with a starving wild wolf with a head twice the size of mine.
He had shown up in the area going from one rig to the next, being fed by all the guys. Someone complained and F&W were called.

What he said.
BTW: That's quite poetic, and it's written in a way that'll get you play with normal women as well as hippie chicks that reek of patchouli . The Dos Equis guy high-fives you.

Although ebonics is taught in numerous schools in California, I do not understand the underlying message that BBore sent.
I will admit that I am dumber than a sack of hammers.

they killed that coyote because its the **** ing wild and you dont go stealing the wolves food like that. maybe if YOU didnt live in the city and knew how the ecosystem worked you would know that. you live a very sheltered life if you think for one minute that the coyote didnt know he was scavenging on wolf's kill. and stupid canines? ya thats why there top of the food chain. and they didnt kill for fun that had to proove a point. point being dont **** with our food.

At the 47 second mark, you can tell that black one really isn't happy. He pretty much burns away from the pack to catch that little food stealing B*%*$%RD! lol
Then after the coyote is taken down the grey one runs in just takes a bite and steps back. They are quite the killing machine, and certainly beautiful.

I don't think they eat the coyotes they just kill them ( food competition) I have see it, found a few dead coyotes not eaten just killed with lots of wolf tracks around.
