Default good suspension repair shop in edmonton

Any other deer hunters out there know why my truck is making a weird clunking noise when I turn corners at low speeds, especially if I am backing up in a parking lot and turning? I am in Edmonton for a few days and hoping to find a good suspension repair shop for my truck, someone who's honest. Not wanting to spend a ton unless it NEEDS it.

CV joints?

Go to Fountain Tire in Edmonton
5810 50 Street, Edmonton

The owner is Ian, his dad owns the one in Sherwood Park.
They have a long history of honesty.

I'm not a deer hunter and this isn't a suspension-specific shop, but I've had great experience with Todd at Computerized AutoPro, 9010 – 58 Avenue 780-468-4227.

Hey deerman - my ram 2500 was doing the same kind of thing, you didn't say what kind of truck but mine was a lower control arm bushing we just about gone and ball joint on the lower control arm had lots of movement. got it fixed at good news auto on 76th ave. Website is http://www.goodnewsauto.ca/suspensio...g-repairs.html and phone number is 780-485-1993. You were asking for a suspension repair shop in Edmonton, so I hope this helps. I have heard good things about that tire place too.

Todd is a good guy. He is very fair. Knew him since he was about 10 years old.

As weird as it sounds, I had a similar problem. Changed all my control arms, bushings, shocks and the loud knocking at slow speeds while turning or reversing was there.

Turned out all I needed was to change differential fluid and add a friction modifier. Problem solved.

Edit: friction modifier only if you have a limited slip differential
