I would love to be able to look at those pics and scoff like you. Good for you. Also, why can't I be sympathetic to those in need here AND abroad? Why do I have to only pick one?

I'm not scoffing at any of those links including yours so don't say I am when I'm not. I added that link because I think people should know that lots of people are suffering and it doesn't matter which country, religion or race they are from
Did I say you couldn't be sympathetic to more than one group in need?
Did I say you only had to pick one?
You sure seem to think I said a lot when all you had to go from was one website link
My bad though I guess I should have posted more than just the web link....
Oh wait I was just responding to a post that only had a web link....

You could go to India and take pictures of kids sleeping without brand name clothing on in worse conditions then those , and their fathers likely aren't planning ways to kill infedels while they sleep.
You know what ? I'm not really that cold I do feel for the innocent victims, the fact remains Syria as a country welcomed the upmost worst of the worst in for years , now the reap what they have sown.
The big question is do we go down that road? Is this what you want for your children / grandchildren ?
I for one do not .

Do you have a reference on this or is the bolded statement simply conjecture?

Really ? Arms traders , Al- Queada, every wannabe in the Middle East that wanted in on the action in Iraq was housed , fed, armed , and settled in the NFZ of Syria . That is common knowledge, throw a dart on a map around Iraq and see where the rest of them reside.
