Default Don't Understand

With all these hundreds of elk beening shot at Suffield.........why wouldn't they try to transplant them to other areas of Alberta? Re establish lost herds. Improve herds. Etc.............

Money?

I am just wondering.

One of those success stories that got out of hand. Elk have naturally repopulated a good part of Alberta, where they were extirpated . No place left to put them. Farmers are bitching now. Even Ontario has elk hunting, thanks to us.
