Oh ok, its just a chemical used in also in plastic and rubbers. They arent putting rubber or plastic in their breads. You would be suprised at how many chemicals used for different things end up in our food. There are quiet a few that we use in the drilling industry that you can find in almost any household kitchens.

I guess I should have done the google before I made that comment
but now that I have read that link and even opened the chicken nugget link, I now feel better about the nuggets. NOT
I for one am trying to eat more whole foods in an attempt to get additives to a minimum.

I'm afraid to open the nugget thread. I should make my kids watch it though.

IMO any meat ,ground or steak that is cooked or grilled to well done is gonna taste like crap,..bison ain't no different.
We cook or grill Bison burgers or meat balls medium and a steak rare to medium rare.

I like most of my beef on the rare side and almost everything else less than well done including pork. The exceptions are chicken, blade tenderized meat which I avoid and ground meat. It is not the meat but the grinding procedure that worries me. The only ground I trust less than well done is meat where I have been involved in every step of the process.

Buffalo meat
We used to raise them and butchered for our own use. Buffalo takes much less cooking to get to the same degree of being done. Same for wild boar
