2008 Chrysler Aspen tranny problems

Hi all.
Was wondering if anyone out there has or had a Chrysler Aspen with transmission problems. I have a 2008 that has a mind of its own. When I put it in drive, sometimes it will shift through the gears and sometimes it goes straight into 3rd or 4th. If I put in in 1rst or 2nd gear, it seems like it only goes into 2nd gear. A couple of days ago I was cruising at 110 km/h. The tranny started out working fine. After about 25 kms, it decided to down shift on its own. Went from 1800/1900 rpm to 3500 rpm in a hurry.
Has anyone ever had this experience with a transmission?
Really starting to hate this high end piece of crap.
