There are a few near by. I'm talking 15-20 mins outa town but haven't been out to see them after the floods so I don't know what to suggest. Maybe some other guys will let you know what they have seen. I used to live by jumping pound and it was descent. Mostly small but fun. Just use google earth and go exploring. That's always most satisfying for me

Go to Bottrell; that is the Dog Pound Creek running through the campground.....Walk it from there.....It can be deep in spots and surprisingly swift in other spots.
Lots of over hanging bush on most of the banks...A lot of roll casting. A 7' fly rod worked best for me.

Don't take this as a flippant response but use Google map, you can find all sorts of great spots. Very handy.
