Default River/Creek Access near Lethbridge

Im looking for some new area's to access on weeknights after work. Something relatively close to lethbridge (1-1:30 hour drive) that doesn't require too much hiking in/out. I've tried the tail end of the Crow and had some decent success, Also tried getting on the Belly west of St. Mary's but really could find a safe/legal place to access. Hopefully someones willing to share.

I know it's not trout, but try spending an evening tossing hoppers for Goldeye in the Oldman in Leth. Am seeing many little hoppers around, the action should get hot and heavy for Goldeye shortly.

Anyone ever try the St. Mary's River near the Hutterite Colony? I've never fished it, but thought that it looked like "fishy" water when we hunt that area in the fall.

Thanks pikergolf, I was already planning on tying up some hoppers this week. All the more reason to try them out before the weekend.

Cheers
