Default Draw FUBAR

We're having a lil issue with one of our draws. The fella first applied for antlered Mulie in the summer of 2006, for the 2006 hunting season. He 999d his antlered mulie. In June of this year, he applied for the same draw and listed the appropriate zone. We just checked his results on RELM, and were disappointed to see he did not get drawn. What's confusing the **** outta us, is how he can possibly be a P3? In 06 he was a 0, and didn't get pulled (999), making him a P1. In 07, he came into the draw a P1, and didn't get pulled, which should make him a P2....... right? But under his current draw priorities, he is listed as a P3

The most logical explanation is that he's a goof and has been applying for this draw for one more year than he thought he was. Not so. His first ever season of hunting was 06, and I manage the draw process for our entire group personally, so I know exactly what he's been put in for. The guy never even had a hunting license prior to last year.

WTF?

We checked his priority history, says no applications for 02, 03, 04 or 05, then applied in 06, and 07.

We're not complaining, we'll take it lol, I'm just a little bewildered as to how it happened....never ever had a mistake in the draw process before. Any of you guys ever had issues with them?

I screwed up this year. Applied for Antlered and Antlerless Elk by accident. They realized this mistake and called my house, but we were fishing up north. By the time I got home it was too late. Luckily, my buddy ended up getting his cow Elk, so I'll still get some meat (hopefully).

Back to square one.

WOW, I'd say that's pretty good service to have called you. I would have expected to just have both choices voided. Not bad.

Priorities have been getting carried forward since I think 1996, so maybe in the time frame not shown.

Default Wierd this year

My buddy missed the gimme mulie doe draw in 238. Last year 99.94% got drawn with a 0. I was 0 and got mine. Maybe he's just very, very unlucky

Yes, I was impressed. They called my buddy as well. Same guy got unlucky with his Muley doe tag. He was choked!

I put in a draw for antlered and anterless moose this year by accident - they phoned me and cleared it up immediately. I was really impressed by the service, looks like I'm not the only one who has made that mistake and been called
