Default Bumps / Blisters found on rabbit

Caught a few rabbits this weekend. One of them had these bumps / blisters on it when skinned. I have seen these in the past in the same area. Have never eaten a rabbit when these have been found.

Anyone have an idea what they are?

Thanks all!

Snowshoe Hare? Then most likely Multiceps serialis.

Tapeworm larvae....

Not infectious to humans. Cut them out end try to enjoy.

Canines are the host to the adult tapeworms.

Do Not feed raw rabbit to the dogs.

Yes it was a snow shoe hare...

Thanks for the info. Have seen it in the area for years and always just pitched the meat once I saw the bumps. May not happen going forward after reading a few articles. Thanks for the insight!
