312 moose, where'd they go?

Been out multiple days where I should see 5-15 a day and not one sighting. No wolf tracks either. Stumped.

Any other 312 reports? Down by Eden Valley and no it's not them.

With all the grizzlies in the area now the moose calf population is way down.

Usually a bunch in the OH. Try Nelson's? Saw one yesterday hunting the NCC, Turner Valley, property.

Last year I saw tons of moose this year haven't seen one. I did notice last year while I saw mostly cows, none had calves. I never saw a calf. Likely combination of bears and wolves cleaning up the calves, will have few moose in near future...

lots of moose in 308 / 310 . cows calves bulls . Could have filled cow tag first day . passed on cow/calf third day , filled tag that afternoon

nope I used a 7mm in 310 lol . 308 is across the road and I was glassing there

from what I am reading they migrated to 308/wmu and 310 wmu.

fire may have pushed some north , honestly I've always seen moose in 310 304

My buddy got a cow in 312 on the weekend. We saw tons of sign for the 2 weekends we were hunting, but only saw them out in the open on the really cold days. Otherwise had to go into the bush to find them. I did a heck of a lot of bush pushing. He got it in mixed woods at about 25 yards, the trees weren't very thick though.

Seen many moose in 312 opening weekend. All cow calf pairs a few with a bull hangin out. Get in the bush and stroll around.. they are there. Wish I had a tag!
