That’s the kind of deer most of us flat landers only ever get to dream about seeing. Never mind even getting one. What a great season. Congratulations

I set up and doe bleated followed by a series of tending grunts. The doe bleated back immediately and after a couple of more tending buck grunts he started grunting and she came right in to me. He followed in her tracks and that was his demise😊

Thanks everyone for your kind words! I really do feel blessed with the success I am having this year. It has been a season full of emotional highs and lows and memories I will cherish forever. I love it when goals are met and targets are finally achieved. I am already thinking of next year's big game season and scheming on places to check out and animals I am on the watch for. Hunting is a habit forming need!

Great job and GREAT season Norm, well earned and deserved, as I know the time you put in. When you get him all cleaned up I would love to come and take a look at him.

Thanks! I have had seasons where I have killed a big elk or big moose or decent deer, but haven't killed 2 big animals in the same season before. I have been thinking of retiring, but then I always get thinking about next season's hunt, lol. I guess I'm not done yet!
