The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. One does not hunt in order to kill, but kills in order to have hunted. No worries guys, as i suspected the Afga land was well covered by other hunters this morning ! Hope someone bagged him, hes a beauty !
As for dragging a deer out 4 kms, not happening sorry.

Elk or moose yes , but i will not shoot an animal i have no intention to consume 4 kms out of the bush.
So i ll leave the Afga land to those that are interested in eating the carcass!

Someone stated the gate should be locked , this morning the gate was wide open at first light . Closed and locked later in the morning .

So what do you do with the deer carcasses, if you don't eat them?

In the very rare occasion i may shoot a deer, theres always a friend or senior that takes it. Keep in mind i have not shot a deer in a very long time .

Ive pased up some beauties too but if theres a question if it makes B &C i dont shoot . And i dont shoot does or fawns.

Nothing against anyone that do, just dont enjoy the meat.
But wiuld shoot a big ol B&C if opportunity arose!
