Ive killed a few of the diffreent kinds, which one are you wanting to hunt,

mountain caribou--gana river----stan stevens- artic red

barren ground---porcupine migration jim fink blackstone outfitters, sharon jenson gets the tail end of it also.

woodland caribou----bob efford --newfoundland

quebec labador ---who knows but im going with leif river next year

central barren ground---- canada north outfitting has good outfitters

Ya, it really depends on what type of caribou you want, what your budget is and what style of hunt you want. There are tons of different options.

Jack Hume is a reputable outfitter in Quebec. I've hunted with him a couple times.

You can find pretty good deals on them all....other than mountain...they are likely the most expensive although the shortage of woodland is driving their price up. I'd say Quebec or central barrenground are likely the cheapest on average.

The cheapest is probably the mountain or the barren ground

the woodland are 14500$ next year

quebec are 6000$

mountain and barren ground there is a ton of outfitters so you can get them decent, around that 5000 mark

If your not concerned, or have a flexable schedule you can ask the outfitters to put you on the short list, so if someone backs out you can take there place! You can usually get a sweet deal that way, but you better be ready to go if they call!
