Bulldog, the taxidermy was done by Dwight at Bucks Plus Taxidermy in Red Deer.

The story: My dad and I went with Nahanni Butte Outfitters in the NWT last summer. We flew out to spike camp the day after arriving in base camp. After waiting the required 12 hours after flying to start hunting, well, we started hunting . We got super lucky because I got my goat the first morning and my dad got his late that afternoon. Even though it was only one day of hunting, it was definately one of the toughest hunts I've been on. Lot's of miles and most of them straight up or straight down. Oh yeah, and a real nice heavy downpour started, just as we finished the pictures of Dad's goat, for the hike back to camp. It was a great hunt in some awsome country, the outfitters said it was quite possible we might be the only people to have hunted that particular drainage in modern times. The people, the food, everything was great, just the way you'd want it.

Haven't figured out how to post a pic but the goat I shot in '03 in BC is in my avitor. Not more pics of Dave's goats but maybe a goat pic will tide you over till he can post some more.

I've got some great pics of both goats and would be happy to post a couple but when I try I get a message that my "file exceeds the forum's limit of 195.3KB". Don't know if there is anything I can do about this but if anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

You need to compress the pictures so they are smaller in order to post....take a look in the general catagory forum and the is a thread on posting pictures....that should help.....

Thanks littlered. This hunt ranks right up there at the top for me and I've been on a few over the last 51 years. And yeah, I've come a long way in the high tech dept., but I've still got a ways to go.
