Default Guess the score game.

I thought this would be fun to see what you guys think and get some practice before hunting season. I know it is hard with pictures but let's see what you think.

I thought it was funnier than hell. I agree with him on that one as well. The #4 was a big mistake. You can see all the wire on his antler. He had a huge branch stuck in it and it was split up. The was also some other branches on it was well and I saw him about ten min. before the end of legal light and only had a small amount of time to shoot. I thought it was a big non typical and was all excited. CMFIC 1 was hunting with me and I told him I got a good one. He came with me and helped me track it 50 yards into the trees and it was a big surprise to see what it was. I wish I had picures with all the junk stuck in the wire.

Here is the scores for the deer in the pictures
#1 scored 154 hard o see but it was a 5x5 and you can not see the tine on the off side main beam.

#2 scored 181. The droptine was 5 inches and it is a 6x6. Extra tines add up or it would have been a basic plain jane 170 deer.

#3 Don't know what he scored but I have a few more pictures of him I will put up later

#4 was a short tined 154 It was an old deer with no more potential to get bigger

#5 This deer scored 182. Hard to tell without seeing all the tines but was a very impresive deer.

#6 left was a 5x5 scored 172 has very long tines
2nd from left scored 171 has some extra tines to add to the score
3rd from left scored 174
right side scored 153 You can't see in the picture but I think it had 13 scoreable points and the one side is webed. I rattled him in to 15 yards and fed him a slug .
Some of you guys guessed pretty good. It makes for good practice.

Im happy with my estimations, i averaged about a consistent 10 inches shy though on most of em. Just wondering, why on earth cant i do this when their on the hoof!!! I always seem to drop the hammer on em, and they always seem to be 10 inches smaller than i thought. I hate ground shrinkage!!! Another thing, why does the big one always get away. Doesnt seem to matter if its fish or game,, aahhhh !!! Anyways, thanks fellas, she was fun...

keep a strain on er.
