Indeed he does but I've never known him to bend the truth to get that rise out of people. Either way, it's one heck of a deer regardless of score.

X2, awesome deer and one of those deer too hard to field judge forsure as i'd be wrong forsure if he only grosses mid 160....gotta watch those more compact heavy buggers a bit closer i guess...

Walleyes,

After really using the numbers you gave 10" g2 and 20 inch spread. I would have to agree with your 166 score however if mass is what it looks like it may push that 170 mark!!

As for the first whitetail picture that started all this I would guess that one to be mid maybe high 150's. Although Walleyes looks enormously bigger, mass doesn't give alot of points.

Stinky that one you have at you work is probably gross about 138".

Picture is decieving though with nothing to compare it to.

Great deer though guys!

Well sorry but I didn't post the pic to start controversy And truth be known its not because I bullsh#t that I get people going on this site it's because I am honest and speak my mind truthfully and just because we are on the Internet I don't hold back on what might hurt some people and I could care less what others think.. I say what I feel and I speak the TRUTH OPENLY...

Now back to my Deer,,, I do know how to score a Whitetail,,, in today's day and age with the help of the net all you do is download from B&C's web site the score sheet and fill it out,,, very simple... Myself and a Nephew of mine have been doing probably a dozen heads a fall for quite a few years now,, we are kind of the local scores in our area... So no I did not miss any,,, believe me I did and redid it a couple times and it is what it is...
I do know I have seen many horns that were supposedly tape scored and knowing horns as I know them I have to bite my tongue and walk away knowing that there were some inches not tallied quite rite,, and the horns stretched a few inches.. Bullsh#ting a score does no one any good..

Sheep is rite,, the tape does little for a trophy anyways,,, I no longer mount for myself anything under a 160+ Whity,, like I said the horns in subject sit on a coffee table at home for decoration.. That being said I got the deer my oldest son shot last fall mounted for him because it was HIS first trophy,, a nice 152 Whity,, for him it was HIS first trophy,, so we preserved it and the memory's for ever.. That is the true measurement of a trophy... The memories...

Okay folks...i know that whitey i posted might be deceiving without some hide etc. but i can give a hint...his inside spread is 23"...now lets have some further guesses.....and also want to hear if people think that deer is bigger or smaller than the original one we are discussing?

It sure shows how pictures can be deceiving compared to actually having the rack in your hand......I guess that is why good photography is so noticable when you see field photo's........
