Default Deer Heart Sizes. Wow!

My wife's buck from last weekend:



Mine from Yesterday.

I laughed when I pulled it out. It's huge! I've never seen a deer heart that big. Yep she's a better shot hahaha.
Btw I'm holding the heart in both pics for scale. Story and video to follow.

Looks like you both are great shots, congratulations on some fine eating!

My wife shot a mule deer two weeks ago, and took out the atria on top of the heart. We normally cut that away before we eat it, but I was surprised on how little hemorrhaging there was on the ventricles, basically none. Meat was perfect, and delicious.
