Who has hunted WMU 410

Hello i wanted to ask if anyone has hunted here before... and what was your outcome?

I've hunted it a few times, almost but didn't get a deer there. If you have no where else to hunt go for it.

I end up doing a lot of work for no meat (yet). Still going out there every year, I am a sucker for hardship guess.

Its the toughest WMU i have hunted, not least b/c it has all the difficulty of the mountains, the lower populations of wildlife, and is archery only. Much easier to get within 250 yds with a rifle than it is to get within 40 yards with a bow!

Every year I inevitably hunt 410 for a couple months, then go harvest an animal in the 200's during the general season.

410 has been fun, but if you judge success by tagging an animal I suggest you look elsewhere. But maybe that's just me!

I've hunted 410 last 2 years been around 2 huge wt bucks had lots of bull elk trail cam pics last year but never got on the elk...this year less guys been on the elk twice still nothing tho..lol tough zone to hunt have to have patience and get lucky...good early season spot tbo.
