Default Draw priorities

Just a quick question. I've been building priority up in the either sex elk draw with plans of a cypress hills hunt at some point. Due to busy life etc the chances of having time to make that hunt are getting smaller every year. If I was to apply for a different elk draw (antlered elk closer to home) do I carry the priority over or have to start from scratch?

Nope......sort of.

Cyprus Hills Elk is a different draw code from antlerless elk and antlered elk. You can switch to the Camp Wainwright either sex elk draw though. Pretty sure it is the same draw code.

Go check the draw booklet online.

Start from scratch different draw code but you maintain either/or priority.

Just checked it for you. Wainwright base hunt and Cyprus are the same draw code (41). It is a tougher hunt though.
