Default Looks of open water and lots of ducks

Just scoutted a couple of sloughs after work. Lots of birds around yet, I'll have to pull the shotgun out of the cabinet. Hunting buddies working tomorrow, I guess it's a solo hunt for me. The cool weather finally got the birds moving, last weekend same slough there was nothing.

Same thing around here(Calgary south)....large numbers massing in the ponds, geese are starting to show up in numbers too, the little taste of winter we got seemed to have kicked them into gear...wish whitetail season wasn't opening tomorrow so I could duck hunt Saturday instead but I gotta fill a WT tag before hitting the ponds again
