Default Strange looking tents near Tilley?

I was out Pheasant hunting near Tilley, Brooks area and noticed a large number of orange tents and the occasional blue tent all in perfect rows and equally spaced apart. They look to be about the size of a 2 man ice fishing tent out in the middle of freshly cut fields.
Any idea what they are used for?
Just curious.

If they are in canola fields, they are for covering up bee hives. The bees are used to pollinate the canola for seed canola which are in separate rows for male and female plants.

At least that is what I was told.

x2. Those are for leaf cutter bees. You'll also see them in Alfalfa fields.
