Default my first ever yote

Called him in this morning, he circled downwind and i stopped him at 100 yards as he was making his escape. Taken with the savage 223!IMG_0414.jpg

Too much fun, instead it?

Long season, few hunters, every coyote is a target, don't matter how far out they are, land owners love you, hunt in almost any weather.
The best part, sell the fur to buy more hunting gear.

Yes he was mangy on his back, big bald spot. I used a parker and hale locater before sunrise and got a response in the opposite direction. Then just brought him in with jack distress parker and hale, he came from the opposite direction of the response I got early on. He was very interested!

Since it always comes up, i thought i'd mention that I called him in just after first light. 830ish
