Default Whisky cigar pairing

Anyone have a favorite Scotch, Irish or Bourbon whisky, Cigar pairing?

Any good bourbon (I prefer Pappy Van Winkle’s) and a Partaga #2

I prefer something on the sweet side with most cigars. Like Spice Box on ice and a Monte 2.
Or Appletons and almost any H. Upmann.
Or Disaronno and a Partagas P2.
Or Glen Morangie and a Brazilia Box Press.

I find it amazing how what you're drinking can drastically change the tastes you can experience in a cigar. Hence the vast array of suggestions.
At times I feel like Remy in Ratatouille....only with drinks and cigars.

Believe it or not I bought a bottle 5 years ago from the Frank liquor store. They used to (maybe still do) carry some neat brands. I still have 1/2 a bottle for special times (with cigars)

Pappy's is supposed to be hard to come by from what i hear. And prices have sky rocketed in last few years also. i would love to try it, but dont wanna shell out the big bucks to buy one lol. One day hopefully.

Oddly enough I don't Vape, however recently sat around the fire with 12 YO dalmore and a coffee flavored vape pen. was pretty good.

I like a Romeo and Julieta Reserve Short Churchill, with Highland Park 18 year old. Stellar combo, haven't had one in years as I put aside the cigars over a year ago. Miss it sometimes....
