10 lbs of crab legs and pumpkin pie. Crab legs were a present. No turkey. Not having Christmas dinner until the 28th. Limit of geese in the freezer so we are having Christmas Goose that day.

Wife and I are still stuck in the hospital with our newborn, so we had Big Macs. Thankfully my brother says he’s bringing deep fried turkey tomorrow

We shut the rig down and went to camp for turkey, ham, snapper, bugs, prawns and oysters with all the fixings. Bugs are an Aussie thing, similar to a lobster but not as good.
The boys thought they wanted a cricket match but at 42 deg it didn't happen.

We had fondue on Christmas Eve that was fantastic!! We started with a cheese fondue with baguette, baby potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower and apples, then an oil fondue with fire hall marinated beef, teriyaki chicken, scallops and beer battered shrimp, and finished off with a chocolate fondue with assorted fruit and pound cake.
Didn't feel much like cooking on Christmas Day so we threw the remaining beef roast in the oven with some potatoes and carrots and had roast beef... oh, and another cheese fondue!!

The wife and I were alone this Christmas day. We made rouladen, brussel sprouts with bacon cooked in reduced chicken stock, as well as mash potatoes. Finished with a sweet potato pie.
Now I wish it was warm enough this AM to walk it off. Minus 40 wind chill here this AM.

Traditional Ukrainian at mom and dads on the 24th, then a 19lb turkey with all the fix'ins at our place on the 25th.
Sweat pants are the dress code today!
Then we do the true 13 dish traditional Ukrainian on the 7th. Special treat waiting for us there. Mom picked up some home made wheat vodka on her trip to the Ukraine last year. Yum yum!!
