Default Revisiting Old Thread TSE VS CSC

hey guys,

seeing what everyones thoughts are on indoor range membership at CSC (Calgary Shooting Centre) VS TSE (The Shooters Edge). Im currently a member at TSE but it seems as if im treated better when i go into CSC then TSE. TSE hasnt had the firearms i want in stock ever and are alot harder to order firearms through then CSC.

Only ever shot at CSC one time. For long range or long riflee shooitng i have private land i can shoot those on, but as far as handguns and AR for indoor fun what is everyones thoughts?

hanks in Advance guys.

Well, given the TSE and their owners are greedy, self centered and on the sketchy side of it all, well, on that alone I would go to CSC.

And you're right. The service, stock, and in general, the facilities at CSC are nicer.

To me the only thing an indoor range is good for is plinking with .22's or testing out new load combos with the chrono. CSC has a better selection of the styles of guns I like to look at, best I've seen in fact, but other than that, not a lot going for either one of them. Had the gunsmith at CSC do a few small things for me this year, great service out of him. Both of them officially suck for reloading components. Both have a bit of powder, that is about it. I bought a membership this yr from Straight Shooters, its a 10-15min drive, if I use it 10 times it is bearable for the price of it, costs that much in gas to go to most places to shoot outdoors, and with them being owned by Western Metals, they have or have some access to some things I can use.
