Default Is a Moose More Important Than Your Hunting Partner?

Not the kind of person I would want to hunt with.

I can get a new hunting partner every year. It's pretty hard to get a moose these days...

Even if the hunter behind the moose wasn't there it's still an idiotic shot...

it could have been a double win if a hole used a little more gun 1 gets the moose 2 gets his partner and does not need to share moose

I think if it was my hunting partner he would be needing some dental work after he got the butt of a rifle in the mouth.

Depends if it was a trip I won to go hunting with our pm I suppose. I would have passed on the shot if I was just hunting with someone I didn't like.

That would be the last time I invited that guy to go on a hunting trip!!!

Ok, that made me laugh right out loud.

One can only hope that the shooter was riding in his partner's truck, and his partner punched him in the mouth and left him to haul his moose 50 miles to town. No cell service would be a bonus.

I don't know if I would have been comfortable hunting that setup in the first place...

(And they are wearing blaze orange as well!)

I wonder if he asked his partner if he could paint a big black dot on the middle of his blaze oronge coat??? Make it a fool proof target.

I would say scary set up, looks like they are pushing bush and expecting the moose to come out between them. I say they are both morons and probably don't even realize how close they were to a really big OOPS

There's a a person who needs a visit from the Police and the Wildlife authorities at the same time. The wildlife should let him know that all of his future hunting privileges have been suspended. Permanently. And the cops can lay out charges for careless use of a firearm and reckless endangerment to human life and seize his firearms. Forever.

I don't know where this took place, but wherever it was, I hope that this video circulates every hunting forum so that people can find out who that was and make sure that he is avoided at all times. That was one of the scariest things that I have ever watched on video.

Funny. That's exactly exactly what I said when I saw this on Facebook.

I can't believe someone would take that shot 😡

Exactly

Did he kill his partner? No

Did he get the moose? Yes

All is good

But seriously

look at the guy
Baggy pants = old guy
Wearing blaze orange = old
Toque with ball on top = old guy thinking he looks cool
Hunting with partner = old and weak needing help
Hunting partner doesnt flinch = another old guy. Slow. Maybe deaf

Basically you have all the makings of Dr Assisted Suicide, minus the Dr part

But seriously

Look at those two. Even the guy whos blurry in the background. He looks dumb. Probably never graduated. Probably has a canopy on his truck to protect his 5l oil jug and tarp strap he found

But seriously.....

The old poorly dressed guy who shot the moose lost his virginity to the other guys sister back in the 1930’s when he was only 42

But seriously....

The old hunting partner was wearing unlicensed body armour. He was ok. His sister is a seamstress. Fix that hole in his red jacket up in no time, and maybe get another crack at the hunting partner since their rendezvous is still fresh in her mind.

But seriously......
