Default Location Fact for Mule Deer Hunting

I was searching for mule deer hunting tips and found Mule Deer Hunting article, but a question about this topic is too important to know. How important the location for Mule deer hunting?

Not important. At all........just pick any city block in Calgary and look until you find one

I would take a grain of salt with that info. It's aimed at USA hunters.

Hunting is like real estate - location, location, location.

If you get into an area, and scout enough to begin to learn the patterns of the deer, you will find they tend to use certain locations more frequently than others - and if you set up adjacent to those area at the right times of day - you will see deer.

I can't tell you how many years I bow hunted in an awesome area but set up in the wrong location and could do nothing as I watched the deer moving just out of range.

Went home with track soup many evenings after the sun went down.

yep, pretty complete write up but they forgot this tip ... check the nearest gravelpit dunno why but mulies and gravelpits go hand in hand...chain

Dang, now you let it slip out .... lol I have never seen a mule deer near a gravel pit ever. Well maybe a few times.........
