Maybe he was trying to shoot the other guy and make it look like an accident... in which case he missed and is still an idiot.

I'd love to see what happened next, after the films stops!

I hope someone was yelling at least, and not happy words....

Wow. Not funny at all .

Just think how horrible the hunter would feel if he actually shot his partner!

And had to drag the moose all the way back to the truck by himself!

but seriously

look at the guy
baggy pants = old guy
wearing blaze orange = old
toque with ball on top = old guy thinking he looks cool
hunting with partner = old and weak needing help
hunting partner doesnt flinch = another old guy. Slow. Maybe deaf

basically you have all the makings of dr assisted suicide, minus the dr part

but seriously

look at those two. Even the guy whos blurry in the background. He looks dumb. Probably never graduated. Probably has a canopy on his truck to protect his 5l oil jug and tarp strap he found

but seriously.....

The old poorly dressed guy who shot the moose lost his virginity to the other guys sister back in the 1930’s when he was only 42

but seriously....

The old hunting partner was wearing unlicensed body armour. He was ok. His sister is a seamstress. Fix that hole in his red jacket up in no time, and maybe get another crack at the hunting partner since their rendezvous is still fresh in her mind.

But seriously......

pure gold!!!

Looks like many European hunting drive scenarios. Some of those guys are crazy. You Tube some eastern European boar hunting videos, guys lined up on a laneway every hundred yards shooting hogs as they cross. Watch a few of them, those guys are crazy.

What is most concerning is that they wear Blaze Orange so that they can be seen, and yet they shoot in each other's general direction, where they can be seen.

At least he did not shoot into the bush where the other people where driving the moose from. This was the cause of an accident I was involved in many years ago.

Person 50 feet to my right was hit by a rifled slug, and lived to tell about it. Shooter was former student of Shootee.

It could have been me, and what was worse was that it was explained to the person on Point not to shoot into the bush, but he changed location and shot into the bush at a group of 6 of us anyway??????

C’mon guys, the other guy is just happy to get half a Moose.
And he shot upper spine instead of passthru, like they’d done this before.
But ya, really, never seen this before.

Blaze orange does not fix carelessness,,, or poor judgement,,,, or recklessness!!!

But it can help identify unsafe shooting lanes and mistaken identities.

May I ask if the shot hunter in your party was wearing orange or not?

These guys are complete idiots. There was a moose coming out and the guy in the background didn't even shoulder his rifle to shoot towards the camera!!!! At least he lived to pack out the moose for the real hunter................

I had something like this happen to me when I was younger shooting golphers. Was walking with one of my buddies and we were about 10yrds apart. A golpher popped up directly between us and he told me "Don't move" as he started to shoulder his .22!! Long story short, there were words said and that was last time we ever went shooting together..........Thank god he didn't have time to pull the trigger!!

Two kids about 16 years old were sitting on there butts shooting gophers. A big blow fly landed on the toe of the one kids running shoe. The other kid took his 22 and shot the blowfly. Needless to say it did quite a bit of damage to the one kids toe. I know these 2 very well.

Is that golphers, golfers or gophers?

If it was golfers, the golfer should not have been there

Always stunned to see the utter stupidity of some human beings. unblvbl.

When he squeezed off he was directly in line with his hunting partner by the looks of it - that could have sucked so bad it's not even funny to me.

Would have been an interesting video if the moose came between the shooter and the camera man.
