Default Snow Geese

The Canadians stay here all winter. But these snow geese have just shown up.

Where was that? That's quite a lot of snow and frozen water for them to fly over still. I bet they were hungry.

When does Spring Snow Goose season begin/end?
I was an avid waterfowler in my younger days but have been away from the scene for many years now and have a new youth hunter in the family that i'd like to introduce to the fun and action.
I'd most likely be interested in booking a day or two with an Outfitter/guide or avid hunter within a few hours drive of CGY as I have neither the dekes/equipment nor the time for scouting/permission etc.

Fella was telling me he'd seen some sitting on the river down towards Taber this week. That would be about the only place they could roost at the moment. Feed has to be pretty scarce. Not thawed in Montana yet;
