Default Bow or Crowsnest this weekend?

I'm getting the fly rod out this weekend! Trying to decide which river to hit. Not looking for your honey holes, just your recent experience with the ice.

I drive by the Bow a lot and I've seen the recent threads here, including all the warnings. I think I have a fair idea about that river.

I've not been near the Crow and would hate to drive all that way to find not much open. I've never fished it this time of year before. Reports from those with recent experience with either river would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I dunno. I see lots from the Deerfoot. . Mind you, might be a different matter if you want to walk right up to the open water. Might have to cast from a little further back.
