Default Sauer 101 vs Sako 85

Nail down to Sauer 101 and Sako 85, let me know your preference. Thanks a lot.

I've had a 202, model up from the 101. Also owned sako 75 and 85.

There's no comparison, I'd take sako anyday.

The Sauer 101 is more comparable to the sako A7 in my view, even so I'd still give the nod to A7.

I sold my Sauer and have no plans on ever getting another. I have actually "down graded". Sold my 85 Bavarian, 202, and my 75 ss synthetic and bought an A7 and some Leica geovid HDRs.

One day I'll buy a nice wooden rifle and it'll be a 9.3 in 85 Bavarian full wood.

I only have owned Sako and love them. At one time I had 7 of them. Awesome machines. You can put 4 rounds in the magazine even in the 338 lapus caliber. My sako 75 in 7mm 08 takes 5 rounds in the magazine

I have owned 25 sako's and 10 sauer's and the 202 is very nice gun when sig sauer made them,go look at the 404 sauer and that's a cool deal,so far ahead of most gun gun makers hands down, the sako finnlight in the 85 series is a good gun.the worst is that club they call a Bavarian in the 85 but the 75 series had real good guns.

I like my sako's but sauer is a way better built rifle ,not the 101 that's there bottom end stuff and I think the sako 75 is a better gun and money wise the sako is a better deal, but if I have the cash I want to get that 404 it's the way guns should be made. The 202 went down hill for a while trying to market stuff, but there a top gun maker and there back at it.

Nice problem to have, two pretty awesome guns.
Owned both Sauer and Sako and my money is with the SAKO.
Personal preference, but like I said, two awesome guns.
