Depends if you like using a diffrent stove. The issue i have is backing a project where the only word on the product is the guy who is trying to sell it.

I have never had any luck with anything on kick starter, my friends haven't either. sometimes it take years to get items if you ever get them (coolest cooler) had a friend sign up for a sunglasses of the month club it was 9 months late and the quality was not as advertised. I won't be doing anything from kick starter ever again people are selling some pretty crazy ideas that may not work (water bottle that filled from water vapour in the air).

Would be nice to see a temp diff/w output chart to know just how much fuel a full recharge takes.
My Android battery at 6.8w hrs would need a 3hr charge at their average 2w rating.

I imagine they're using the differential metal technology (constantan/copper etc).

Check out the Seebek effect as used in thermopiles etc.

Wood burning is almost twice as much CO2 per Gj of energy produced vs Natural Gas.

I will still likely get one but I don't like highlights of a product that are intentionally misleading
