Default Rabbit Way

some times you find these spots that have trails of the animal your hunting

with age and good scouting skills Mother Nature reveals street signs

we have found certain areas that hold more than usual amount of target spieces

this is especially true for Wabbits

with snow street signs like Rabbit Way ... Speed Hi-way .. Bunny Jump road they show you how many rabbits you didn't see

well we got a few Yesterday ..and one wasically wabbit got away

aahh such is hunting

Shots Fired

2 Bro's having fun

enjoy

David

Nice work as always! What is your cartridge of choice in that 597 for rabbits?

we have trappers put in orders for the trap lines

Default Bunnies

I don't know how you do it....we go bunny hunting and NEVER get any. Deer, elk, moose no problem but I haven't shot a rabbit in years.

They are indeed good in a tourtière. Tourtière st. jean is traditionally made with; rabbit, game and veal. It's way different than the "meat pies" we think of as tourtière in the west.

Default wish we had the cutlines and logging roads you guys have

I think I've shot 4 rabbits my entire life, the rest I have to snare. The bush is too thick here to get any real clear shots. They're @ the height of the population of the 10 year cycle, same with grouse and ptarmigan( type of partridge for those that have never harvested them before). Been lurking Speck's posts and this always makes me wanna load up and go for a hike.
Keep them coming
