Default Coyote sitting behind us watching

Got out on the weekend and had an awesome day of hunting. We ended up with two for the day, this one was taken in the morning.

I had a similar thing happen a few years back. The coyote was sitting about 15-20 yards behind, I just laid back then rolled over onto my stomach fortunately I was running a shotgun, as soon as the bead settled on his face I fired, unfortunately I was shooting 3.5" 4buck and had the gun mounted on my collar bone. Resulting in a dead coyote and a bruised collar bone.

Been out rattling just to have 6 sit all around me trying to figure what's up...one never went home...waited until last light.
