Default Bison European Mount

Hi Guys,

I shot a B&C bison this winter and am looking for a Taxidermist to do a European Mount. I live in Calgary and travel to Fernie often so anyone here in Calgary or on the way to Fernie would be good. Its important to me that this is done right, so if anybody knows of a Taxidermist around here that does good work on these let me know.

Thanks,
Phil

Have a look at the sponsor list on here. There is a few taxidermists that are forum sponsors. Here is the link to the sponsor page.

You could consider getting a euromounter and then you don't have to pay somebody to mount it. Just get a mount from theeir website and you are done. If you want to ensure the skull is clean just get a brush and scrub it really well and make sure it is clean and then leave it overnight in a mix of water and hydrogen peroxide to whiten it a bit.

Nice animal. I got my euro deer done at Non Typical Taxidermy in Black Diamond on the recommendation of a friend and was very happy with it. Their number is 403-681-5207. That being said, form the looks of your pics you are more than half way there. If you are just looking for the mounting hardware I believe Bass Procarries the kits or just go online and order one. Either way, good luck with the mount.

Looks badass! I'd just do it my self, more sentimental that way. But that's me
