Coyote Pelt Prices

Hello All;

I am wondering how much one could get for a coyote pelt. What are the differences between light and dark, small or big? Another thing, could anyone give me a link to a website which would show correct skinning and fleshing technique?

I'm not really looking to do this as a living, but just wondering if it would be worth the work.

Nafa website should have all of the info you need and then some.

As a general rule, coyotes are near worthless until they have their nice winter coats in.
Both coloration and size go toward determining the value.
If done correctly they can bring in from 70-125$ give or take at auction.

Hydro is 100% right. On the Nafa site you can download their fur handling manual. Or call them and they can ship you one.

Youtube has alot of fur handling videos on it and years ago i bought a movie from cabelas thats called " fur handling for profit"
