I have seen this on another forum and it works pretty good for folks that need an item picked up from another town or province that they maybe travelling through or from for another member.

I need a small part picked up near Grand Prairie and brought to the Edmonton area if someone is coming from GP?

They used to have the AO Pony Express as a sticky, then figured out too many sticky's and replaced it with a different sticky that has a lot MORE importance..Political Threads NOT ALLOWED- All Need to Read

The sticky was a great deal, and garnered a lot of success.

BUT- if someone was heading 'there' and didn't look it failed. I found asking in General got much better quicker results because every member skims the new thread titles.

Another thing we used to do a LOT was say 'I am heading to "wherever" if anyone wants to meet at WSS BPS BP or wherever you could offer to bring things back and got to meet members.
