Default Peavy Mart Ammo?

For those of you around peavey marts, How often does the 22 ammo go on sale? I managed to catch a sale last fall and stocked up but I running low now. Seems all they stock are 50 packs of federal 40 grain and americian eagle 36 grain.

Once or twice a year they put it on sale...have not seen any on sale for a while, given the ammo crunch I would buy what is reasonable and not hold out too long if you want some stock.

What ammo shortage?

A bunch of folks got scared that thier guns etc were going to be taken away and they made panic purchases which temporarily depleted the in-store stocks.

To be honest... Obama did the firearms and ammo industry a favour when he started kicking that idea around.

I don't know, I've talked to a few small shop owners and they were saying their ammo supplies have told them to expect only 20% of the orders they submitted for delivery. I mostly shoot 22 exclusively so I don't mind picking up another 5000 for those pesky ground rats.

Like I said... a bump in the road because about 10 million American gun owners flinched and some of us followed.
Course it could have a bit of a carry over especially with something like 22 since most guys volume buy them in the spring regardless of the silliness south of the line.

I just buy a couple bricks whenever I hit the store all year round.
Keeps me plinking.
Helps to avoid the spring shortfalls.

I'm all stocked up for the summer now.
