No whites seen. Just caught a pike. Jigging a minnow in the shack with camera.
Jaw jacker about 25 yards away loaded with wire worms.

We were on Badger Lake yesterday only 4 inches of ice. We drilled holes in 8 feet of water and out to 15 feet no change in thickness.

Anyone have any updates on Calling lake? Have heard some varying levels of ice thickness as well as a big heave or two. Anyone know if it’s passable? Planning on heading up next weekend with the half ton and a 6x12 trailer converted to an ice shack in tow. Wanna make sure it’s safe enough thickness wise as well as able to reach the hump and VW point with the ice heave. Much appreciated. Cheers.

I would not trust this, there is half of that in other places. In twenty holes I didn't have more than 16"

Dad and I were at Chain yesterday. Where we set up there was 6-7" of ice. We did see someone out with a small SUV, Rav 4 size, a 4 seater side by side, and a tracked Argo driving across the ice. We were a little past halfway on the north 80 feet from the east Bank.

I agree I found there to be roughly 16" of ice out from the provincial park. Be safe out there.

Default Amisk Lake

14-16 inches of clear black ice from the boat launch all the way around the point across from the launch to the east, 1-2 inches of snow, lots of trucks out on the ice, ice was constantly making noise all day, very slow fishing drilled somewhere around 40 holes and they weren’t agressive at all.
