tossing around the idea of breeding my chessie

I will Be breeding my female chessie, out of Westpeake chesapeaks
pups will be registered and up to date shots some will be DNA health tested for Dm, eic, pra ,
I've purchased the very last frozen semen from a male that died of old age in 2012, (grand oaks Chesapeake's Lind's North Creek Magnum)
theses pups will high drive high energy hunting retrievers , just wondering if there is much interest out there
the breeding by AI wont take place until late January early February, which will give March or April puppies
I would ideally would like to place these pups in homes in the country, in Canada , as I have people from the USA constantly contacting me for a pup with this breeding,
but I prefer to keep these bloodline here in Canada
or in homes that the people want to get into hunt tests and field trials, as they will be bred for hunting, field trials, even search and rescue conditions anyone interested can Pm me

There is a fine line between romping around in a field like a crazed creature and hunting. The light coloured one was doing some hunting, the dark ones were basically playing. When you see a dog's head the majority of the time and a lot of bouncing he is not using his nose. Flushing dogs should look like vacuum cleaners in a field until they are marking a shot bird. The release sites are full of dogs with their heads up running around. They run by many more than they flush.

Not knocking your dog as this is likely a lack of training and discipline more than a bloodline issue. Those dogs should be running blind trailing drills and retrieves until they learn how to use the senses God gave them. The video is not a good representation of trained flushing dogs. It looks more like some young pups out for a run. A good flushing dog is stealthy in his/her approach, stays low to the ground (read no bouncing) and works back and forth into the wind until they pick up scent. They take it very seriously and are relentless once on scent.

I know this thread was designed as an advertisement but I don't think you are doing yourself a lot of favours with that video.

these pups were very young dogs at the time this was filmed
7 months and 9 months old
just in training when this was made from what I'm told,
since this video was made they were in the national Chesapeake specialty felid trial in Oregon and placed
with high one winning the open derby
as well one was invited to the super retriever series in Stuttgart AR and went to the 8th series,
so I'm thinking they did pretty well for their age and training
