Past his prime is right. That's the ugliest salmon I've seen in a long time. But if that's all you were catching then my sympathy is offered!

Yes probably the uglyest one I ever saw-Caught the limit of fresh coho and released quite a few--A guy next to me caught a 16 lb coho, that was a dandy.Maybe i will do better next week the northern coho will be in the rivers soon.

Ugh!
It's been a long time since I've seen something that ugly.

..... and the fish isn't anything to write home about either!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Oh yes very ugly, worth a picture. But wasnt rdy to give it up fought like the devil.I had a true monster fish a few days earlier--with my 9 weight rod bent to the limit, the reddington reel screaming like a banchee,i couldnt hold it,all backing out,i followed downstream for about 150 m.Finally rolled him on the beach with my camera back in the bag,That would make that one look like a *****ley.Beggars cant be choosers--maybe next week will be better----

Now now dont be rude--Its all about fishing --hook and release--Did I ever tell you about the time on main brook in white bay.During a hook and release period I released over 60 atlantic salmon in less than a week. That was fly fishing at its very best--The muddler minnow worked like a charm.

Maybe when you get old you will be able to catch salmon like that-My 30 plus last week brought the overall total up-could have got more but gave up my place on the river--other people wanted to get there limit of coho,It was a free for all counted 26 people at one point, everyone catching salmon--I was the 1st to limit out---Cant remember when Ihad so much fun with my cloths on.
